No One Uses the Word 'Strife' Anymore

So, I think I've figured this all out. Though, I'm not sure any one of you has read my last few posts, so this may just be me talking to myself about my blog shuffling as of late (this goes back to the topic of "if there are no comments, it's hard not to assume the post hasn't been read").

Anyway, here are the statuses of my (as of now) three blogs:
  • Strictly For Suckers: Defunct
  • This blog: Using it for general life updates
So, we have that. Now, we have this:

An update on that aforementioned static life:

Well, there's not much to report (shocker?), life feels much like a waiting game at the moment--most of the waiting is for my damn phone to ring, or for a few certain somebodies to bless my inbox.

The waiting game isn't the worst situation to be in. I know it won't be like this all the time (I'm determined that it won't be).

Things of Note:

  • I recently pre-ordered Chelsea Handler's new book: Chelsea Chelsea Bang Bang and I'm super excited about it.
  • I'm going to Seattle for a casting call for a new ABC Family series (based on this book).
  • I'm going to Portland next-next weekend to celebrate my mom's birthday!
  • I'm currently 30 pages into a new screenplay that I'm really enjoying to write.
  • I still don't have a job.
  • I'm still sleeping on the couch (thanks to, what I now call, The Great Futon Hoax of 2010).
Aaaaaaaand....
  • I'm rocking longer locks:

Well, that's pretty much it for now.

Hope all is well with you.

Woot for rocking the joblessness.

*stabs job market with a spork in the jugular*

No, you know what, it's not even good enough for a spork.

*retracts and stabs with a white colored pencil*

Because, really, what use is it unless you have black paper? And if you do have black paper, you should be using crayons because the pictures look more awesome than with colored pencils.

Anyway, thought I'd drop you a line ;) I'll be watching the Oscars any minute now (on TiVo) then reading your other blog about it and seeing how astute your predictions were. ^_^

Use in a sentence: Next time you see that fine looking neighbor of yours, you tell him to look me up and we'll whip up some sterstfo.

I like the wavy hair look. :) I kinda rock the waves as well, haha.

I think you've got a busy and fun couple weeks ahead of you!! What's the new screenplay you're working on?

And I've been reading your tumblr posts, whenever I see you update your twitter about them. :P Y'know I had a tumblr account...then I deleted it because I didn't know anyone else that used it. Huh. Slightly ironic now that I think about it.

Cop Out was funny. Nothing Oscar worthy, but it was an entertaining buddy-cop movie. Willis and Morgan, an unlikely pair, did pretty well together.

And I re-tumbl'd. :P I'm back on tumblr. Not wanna make you all teary eyed, but I did it for you. XP
